Dr. Aslan Zorlu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Human Geography, Planning and International Development Studies, University of Amsterdam. He is also a research fellow at the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Labour Studies (AIAS), the Institute for the Study of Labour (IZA), Bonn-Germany and the Applied Microeconomics Research Unit (NIMA), Braga-Portugal. His research has a strong interdisciplinary orientation and focuses on the socioeconomic position of immigrants in the spheres of education, housing and labour markets. He has extensive experience in applied quantitative methods.
