Biography

Ayman Abdelmohsen is an international Obstetrics & Gynecology, public health specialist with over 25 years of professional experience in health care management, health systems strengthening and Family Planning and Reproductive Health (FP/RH). Dr. Abdelmohsen has proven international experience in contributing the reduction in unmet need in FP through expanding access to FP/RH services and information. Strong leadership and management skills working with governments and private sector organizations to improve performance of health systems to attain sustainable and equitable access to health care. Substantial program management experience leading complex project teams, setting standard operating procedures to manage program resources and establishing and building work productivity norms. Established experience in setting monitoring and evaluation frameworks, performance management plans and logical frameworks. Substantial field experience leading and managing field offices in Nigeria, Zambia, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, West Bank and Gaza, Syria and Sudan. Medical doctor, OB/GYN specialty, health care management and public health specialist. Professional fluency in Arabic, English and French.
