Dr. Fan is an Instructor in Ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. He received his M.D. and Master in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Southeast University, China. He received his Ph.D. in Ophthalmology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 1997 to 2001, he was an Assistant Lecturer and Lecturer at Southeast University. From 2004 to 2007, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Hong Kong. From 2007 to 2011, he was a Senior Research Fellow at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School.
