Bimal K. Paul

Biography

Dr. Bimal Kanti Paul is a Professor of Geography at Kansas State University, USA. He is a hazard geographers with additional interests on health and population geography, and quantitative analysis. Although his areal specialty is in South Asia, he has conducted research on tornadoes, flash floods, blizzards, forest fires, and hurricanes in the United States. Dr. Paul received fellowships and grants from many external sources. He has published more than 140 papers including 80 in refereed journals. He is currently Book Review Editor of the Professional Geographer and Editor of the Special Publications of the National Council for Geographic Education.
