Bruno Salle

Biography

Professor Bruno Salle had his medical training at the Claude Bernard University Lyon I, Lyon France and he graduated as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. He later obtained his PhD at the same university.
Prof Salle is now the Head of the Female Infertility Unit, Hospital Edouard Herriot, Hospices civils de Lyon, France. He is also a Professor of Reproductive Medicine at Claude Bernard University, Lyon I, Lyon France. Prof Salle heads the research unit at the National Institute of Medical Research (INSERM U 846 Stem cells & brain) Fertility preservation, Ovary cryopreservation, ovarian transplantation.
Prof Salle has written and published several papers in journals, and contributed chapters in numerous textbooks and delivered lectures at various international and national conferences. He is a member of the task force of ESHRE fertility preservation in severe diseases and malignancies.
