Catherine M McCann obtained a BVSc from the University of Liverpool 1980 at which time she became a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She completed her MSc in Tropical Animal Production and Health from the University of Edinburgh 1990 and her MSc in Epidemiology from the University of London 2005. She completed her PhD in Veterinary Parasitology at University of Liverpool 2010. She has held a number of varied positions in research education government and veterinary practice in the UK Vanuatu and St Lucia She has published 4 papers and is a reviewer of 2 journals.
