2007: PhD in Immunopharmacology, Univ. of Palermo. Title of the thesis: “Interaction tumor cellendothelium: isolation and characterization in vitro and in vivo of tumor cell lines with different capability of adhesion to endothelial cells”. 2000: degree in Biological Sciences (110/110 cum laude), Univ. of Palermo, discussing the thesis: “The sequence Sns for the construction of retroviral vectors that express in a regulate way exogen genes”.

Research Interest

After many years of research on colon cancer and on pharmacological resistance and new antineoplastic agents in treatment of CML, she worked on the role of stromal cells and exosomes on leukemia microenvironment. She is now working on the role of exosomes in Lung cancer and on multiple Myeoloma
