Dr. Enquobahrie is Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Washington (UW), School of Public Health. Dr. Enquobahrie received his medical degree from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and, his Masters of Public Health and PhD in Epidemiology degrees from the UW. He also received post-doctoral training at the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Enquobahrie is a cardiovascular and perinatal epidemiologist with particular interest in genetic epidemiology. He is affiliated with the Cardiovascular Health Research Unit, UW and the Center for Perinatal Studies, Swedish Medical Center, both in Seattle, WA. Dr. Enquobahire is involved in research that addresses cardiovascular risk development at all stages of life with particular emphasis on pregnancy and the perinatal period. His research employs genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics approaches and integration of population, clinical and laboratory-based studies. Dr. Enquobahrie collaborates extensively with investigators involved in multi-disciplinary research at domestic and international institutions.
