Biography

Dr. Denoyer is a research fellow in the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology at Deakin University, Burwood, Victoria, Australia. She obtained her PhD in Biomedical Engineering in France in 2004 (University of Saint-Etienne), where she investigated the mechanisms of uptake of new radiopharmaceuticals in cancer cells. After being awarded a prestigious fellowship from NHMRC/INSERM (Australia/France research cooperation program), she relocated to Australia in 2007 to pursue her interest in preclinical validation of radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapy of cancers at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne. In November 2013, she joined the Metals in Medicine Laboratory (Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Deakin University, Burwood Campus) and her research focus moved to the “metals” field where she uses her expertise in translational research to investigate the role of copper in the development and growth of prostate cancer.

Research Interest

Cancer biology, translational research, cellular and molecular biology, PET and SPECT imaging, radionuclide targeted therapy, autoradiography, metallomics, preclinical validation of new anti-cancer agents (radiotracers or other compounds).
