Dr. Dev Karan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is a member of Kansas University Cancer Center. Dr. Karan received his Ph.D in Biosciences from India (University of Rohtak). Following a short training at CNRS in France, he completed his postdoctoral training at UNMC Omaha and the University of Iowa working on various aspects of prostate cancer. Dr. Karan’s research interests involve both basic and translation research primarily focused on prostate and its associated diseases including cancer. He is developing a program integrating the pre-clinical laboratory research and clinical trial studies. Dr. Karan has authored more than forty-five publications including research articles, book chapters, and review articles in multiple journals including cancer research, clinical cancer research, immunotherapy, international journal of cancer, the prostate, prostate cancer and prostatic diseases, carcinogenesis, etc.
