Didi Chen

Biography

Dr. Didi Chen earned her Ph.D. degree in Cell Biology from Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China and then she worked at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School at Harvard University. Currently, She is working in the Department of Microbiology, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. Her research has been published in multiple peer reviewed articles in high-profile journals, such as Science, Plos Genetics and Molecular Biology of Cells. She also serves as a reviewer for many journals.

Research Interest

Her research interest is in multidisciplinary fields including apoptosis, C.elegans genetics, pathogen-host interactions and CRISPR genome editing.
