Dr. Jeffrey Craig Bailey pursued his BS in Marine Biology in 1990, from University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He then pursued his MA in Biology in 1992 from College of William & Mary. In 1996, he completed his Ph.D. in Botany from Louisiana State University. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the department of biology and marine biology in the University of North Carolina at Wilmingtion. He is also the Curator of Algae and Co-Director in WNC Herbarium Center for Marine Science.
