Dr. Mari Dallas, MD obtained her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999 and completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2002. Thereafter, she obtained her Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship training from Seattle Children’s Hospital and Bone Marrow Transplantation training at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center at University of Washington. She continued as an Acting Instructor at the University of Washington and a Research Associate at Fred Hutchinson. In 2009, she joined the faculty at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as an Assistant Member in the Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. Dr. Dallas is board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Mari Dallas research goal is to improve the overall outcomes of patients undergoing umbilical cord blood transplantation by specifically addressing delayed immune reconstitution. The Dallas laboratory investigates T cell development with specific focus on gamma-delta T cells and thymic recovery after HSCT.
