Dr. Naglaa EL Mokadem graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, United State of America, in 2003. In 2002, she wins the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing Alumni Association Case Western Reserve University Research Award, Ohio, USA to fund her doctoral dissertation, titled, “The Relationships between Fatigue, Depression, and Sleep Disturbances after Myocardial Infarction.” Dr. El Mokadem is interested in symptoms management after Myocardial Infarction, Cardiovascular risk reduction in women, weaning critically ill elderly patients from mechanical ventilation, managing critically ill patients and innovative nursing education (Problem-based Learning, and Team-based Learning). Dr. El Mokadem has been working in the Center for Research & scholarship at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA and maintains professional membership of the Midwest Nursing Research Society, Sigma Theta Tau, Alpha Mu Chapter, American Heart Association, and the American Association of Critical Care. Dr. El Mokadem is serving as an Editorial Board Member in several refereed International Journal such as American Journal of Nursing Sciences, International Journal of Novel Research in Healthcare and Nursing and Nursing & Open Access Journal.
