Bin Du did MS in Food Science (2006), Shenyang Agricultural University, China, PhD in Chinese Medicine (2016) Hongkong Baptist University, Hongkong followed by Post-doc in Food Science, Bi-State School of Food Science, Washington State University & University of Idaho, USA.
His research interests primarily focus on on isolation and purification of phytochemicals (such as polysaccharide, phenolics, and flavones) in fruits, vegetables and mushroom. He also shows interests in the structure, physicochemical and biological properties (such as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities) of these phytochemicals.
