Dr. Durga Udayakumar has completed her bachelors in Biotechnology from Anna University Chennai India Further she completed her PhD in 2005 in the area of Molecular Medicine at Medical College of Georgia Augusta GA She did her first postdoctoral training in the area of PI3Kinase signaling in mammary tumorigenesis in the Department of Vascular Biology Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School Currently she is a postdoctoral research associate in the department of Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School Her current research area is focused on UV Biology and Melanoma Tumorigenesis
