Dr. Eduardo Jaramillo is Professor of Marine Ecology in the Institute of Environmental and Evolutive Sciences of the Faculty of Sciences, Universidad Austral de Chile, Valdivia, Chile. He received a Zoology Degree at Universidad Austral de Chile and a PhD in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire, USA. He teaches Marine Ecology for undergraduate and graduate students, and introductory courses of Marine Biology, Aquatic Baseline Studies and Structure of Scientific Research for undergraduate courses. He has published papers on sandy beaches, estuarine bottoms, wetlands and rocky shores.
