Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy
Enrico Cestino is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Structures at Politecnico di Torino. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 2001 and 2006 respectively. His research activity focuses mainly on design of new-concept aircrafts and design and testing of advanced Composite Aerospace Structures, mainly in the following fields: a) Design of Airplanes and High Altitude Very-Long Endurance UAVs b)Theoretical and numerical aerodynamic analysis c) Analytical and experimental investigation of advanced composite structures d) Nonlinear aero-elasticity of highly flexible wings: Computations and Experimental Verifications. He participated to several European Commission funded Projects and actually he is the Coordinator of the Marie Curie Project A2-NET-TEAM - Advanced Aircraft Network For Theoretical & Experimental Aeroservoelastic Modeling. He serves as a reviewer of several Interantional Journals and he is member of the SAE Unmanned Aerial Systems Committee. He published several papers in national and international aerospace Journals and conference proceedings.
