Dr. Eugene S Kim is Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology-Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In addition to a surgical practice devoted and specialized in treating pediatric malignancies, Kim is the principal investigator of a laboratory focused on novel preclinical therapeutics for the aggressive childhood malignancy, neuroblastoma. His research interests are focused on the development and discovery of new anti-angiogenic pathways and therapies for neuroblastoma. In addition, Kim’s lab is investigating a novel cancer stem cell population in neuroblastoma.
