Biography

Dr. Fathi Ihmeideh is an associate professor of Early Childhood Education. He has extensive experience in university teaching, training, leading research projects, developing kindergarten curriculum, parenting programs, preparing and evaluating kindergarten teacher education programs, assessing educational awards, and consultations. Dr. Ihmeideh has contributed to numerouspeer- reviewed publications in the areas of emergent literacy, parental involvement, and early childhood teacher education, and is an active reviewer in many international journals. Dr. Ihmeideh delivered many presentations in local, regional, and international conferences.

Research Interest

Literacy Development in Early Childhood, Methods of Teaching Language Skills for Children, Children's Literature, Parental Involvement in Pre-school Programs, Kindergarten Teacher Education, Integrating (ICT) into Childhood Curricula, Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).
