Dr. Diaz obtained his Doctorate in Sciences from National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1989, He is senior research at Marine Biotechnology Department (CICESE). His research focused in evaluate the effect of climate change on the physiological and molecular responses in different marine organisms, principally molluscs, crustacean and fishes. Dr. Diaz authored about 82 peer-reviewed research papers in the journal of International repute.
