Dr. Gianluca Neglia obtained the Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1999, October at the University of Naples “Federico II”. In February 2003 he completed his PhD in “Animal Breeding” and in 2005 obtained the title of Specialist in “Animal Nutrition” at the University of Naples “Federico II”. From 2005 to 2008 he performed a Postdoctoral grant position at the Experimental Institute for animal
breeding of “Tormancina”, Monterotondo, Rome. In 2008, October he achieved a permanent position of Academic Researcher in “Animal Breeding” Disciplinary Area (AGR/19), c/o the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the “Federico II” University of Naples.
During his professional training he was interested in several aspects of biotechnologies of reproduction, such as Artificial Insemination, Multiple Ovulation and Embryo transfer, In vitro Embryo Production and embryo cryopreservation, in buffalo, cattle, sheep, sow and mice, together with breeding techniques in several domestic species (cattle and buffalo, in particular). His research activity is summarized in more than 120 Scientific publications, whose results have been communicated in National and International Conferences and published on National and International Journal with Impact Factor
