Guang Fan

Biography

Dr. Fan completed her medical education at Medical School of Beijing University in China and received M.D degree in 1986 and received PhD degree in Physiology from Wayne State University in 1992. Then she spent 4 years at University of Michigan for post-doctoral training in molecular biology. After finished resident training in anatomic/clinical pathology at University of Cincinnati and accomplished hematopathology training at Indiana University as board certified hematopathologist. She joined Oregon Health and Science University as medical director of hematology laboratory. Currently, she is director of clinical flow cytometry laboratory and director of hematopathology fellowship program. She is serving on the editorial board of Human Pathology.

Research Interest

Study pathogenetic mechanisms of leukemia and lymphoma, using multiplex Next-Gene-Sequencing, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and in-vitro multiplex drug sensitivity for leukemia.
