Guangrui Yang

Dr. Guangrui Yang received his MD from the Second Military Medical University and PhD in pathophysiology from Peking University, China. He trained as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utah where he revealed important roles of PPARgamma, a prostaglandin J2 receptor and antidiabetic drug target, in the regulation of circadian rhythms. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics (ITMAT) at the University of Pennsylvania. He commences research encompassing both circadian clock and prostaglandin in cardiovascular pharmacology. He serves as an editor and a reviewer for several scientific journals.
