Hany Hosny Sayed Abdelhamied

Biography

Dr. Hany Hosny Sayed Abdelhamied is an Associate Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management in College Of Business, Umm Al-Qura University, KSA. He has done PhD in Hotel Management from Bournemouth University, UK shared with Helwan University Egypt (Joint supervision system) 2007, Master of Hotel  Management from Helwan University Egypt 2001, BSc of Hotel Management from Helwan University, Egypt 1998. His research interests include : Food and Beverage Service Management, Hotel Management, Tourism and Hospitality Marketing, Cost accounting for Hotels and Restaurants.  His publication sources include text books, Egyptian Journal of Tourism Studies, Abhath Al Yarmouk Journal, International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality research, Tourismos : an International Multidisciplinary Journal of Tourism. His work activities include : Member in a team work who is currently responsible for achieving the requirements of institutional accreditation in UQU. 2014-2016, Chairing the department of Hajj and Umrah business management in College of business Umm Al Qura University, KSA, Since 2011 and up till now, Member of the Accreditation committee for Achieving the requirement for AASCB accreditation in College of Business, Umm Al Qura University, KSA, Member of the team work who was in charge of founding the post graduates programmes in College of business Umm Al Qura University, KSA, 2012-2013, Member of an internal committee for developing Hospitality and Tourism program in College of Business Management Umm Al Qura University, KSA, 2012.
