Professor Kakizaki is an Associate Professor at Aichi Medical University in Aichi, Japan. He graduated from Osaka City University Medical School in 1996. He received his post-graduate oculoplastic training at Seirei Hamamatsu General Hospital in Japan and research fellowships at the Queen Victoria Hospital in the UK and the University of Adelaide in Australia. He has received his PhD in Aichi Medical University. He is currently a vice president of the Asia-Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS). As well, he is an editorial board member of “Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (Journal of American Society of OPRS)” and “Orbit (Journal of European society of OPRS and APSOPRS)”. He has published more than 100 English peer reviewed articles.
