Biography

Dr. I-Jen Wang Trained at National Taiwan University Hospital in Pediatric Immunology and Allergy. Fellowship followed by senior scientist position at National Taiwan University Hospital of Environmental and Occupational Medicine. My research and professional activities bridge children health and environmental exposure assessment, with a focus on the incorporation of pediatrics into environmental health policy. Areas of current focus include: children allergic diseases and environmental exposures in birth cohort studies; biomarkers to predict allergic diseases, epigenetics, gene and environment interactions; outbreak investigation; seroprevalence and vaccination strategy; health impacts of melamine contaminated food products.
