Professor Jaeseung Jeong is currently an associated professor at the Department of Bio and Brain Engineering, KAIST (Daejeon, South Korea) since 2004. He received Ph.D. from Department of Physics, KAIST with the thesis on computational modeling of Alzheimer’s disease based on nonlinear dynamics and complex system modeling. He has been working as a postdoc associate at the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, Yale University (New Haven, USA) and as an assistant professor at the Department of Psychiatry, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University (New York, USA).
Research topics include brain dynamics of decision-making, computational modeling of psychiatric disorders including depression, addiction, and dementia, and Brain-Robot Interface (BRI). He has expertise in nonlinear dynamics and complex network analysis, decision neuroscience, and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI).
