Jayanthi Repalli is a postdoctoral fellow at the NYU Langone Medical Center. Her research interests lie in the areas of drug design and development by using computational and invivo/invitro techniques. She has identified targets, discovered lead molecules, and optimized them for Alzheimer’s disease and Cancer by using virtual ligand and biochemical screening methodologies. She has graduated from University of South Carolina in 2011 with a doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her doctoral thesis is entitled “Computational and Pharmacological Approaches to Design Allosteric Thymidylate Synthase Inhibitors.” She also has a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from G. Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy in India. Additionally, she is actively involved in consulting projects and provides subject matter expertise to early stage life science investors and entrepreneurs.
