Dr. Jianwu Xu received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering in 2002 from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Florida in 2007. During his PhD program, he interned at Siemens Medical Solutions in Malvern, PA and RIKEN Brain Science Institute in Japan. He is currently with the Department of Radiology at the University of Chicago as a Postdoctoral Scholar.
His research interests include computer-aided detection, medical image analysis, and adaptive signal processing. He is a member of IEEE, Tau Beta Pi, and Eta Kappa Nu.
