My training encompasses the spectrum of adult and pediatric spinal conditions and, while primarily focused on surgical treatments, also includes extensive training in the non-surgical treatments of spinal conditions. This training began at The Johns Hopkins University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and included close interaction with colleagues in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. My fellowship training was completed at The University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospitals as well as Miami Childrens Hospital, each their own internationally-recognized center for surgical and non-surgical treatment of adult and pediatric spinal conditions, comprised of surgeons and clinicians from the Departments of Orthopeadic and Neurological Surgery as well as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. With this specialized training and history of collaboration, I have endeavored to bring this paradigm of comprehensive care to the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospitals.
