Ken Anderson

Biography

Dr. Ken Anderson, MD, ABFPRS, ABOTO is a double-board certified facial plastic surgeon who has dedicated his career and practice to the treatment of hair loss in both men and women for over 12 years. Artistic concepts in hairline design, patient comfort, and natural, permanent results are heavily emphasized. He is the Founder and Director of the Anderson Hair Sciences Cente,r in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and the only physician in the State of Georgia to offer robotic hair restoration surgery (ARTAS Robotic Surgery System). Dr. Anderson is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA Medical Center) in the Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. From 2008 to 2011 Dr. Ken Anderson was the Hair Restoration Specialist for EMORY Healthcare, teaching resident physicians and delivering Grand Rounds presentations to the faculty and staff of the Departments of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and Dermatology. Dr. Anderson has authored over 20 scholarly publications in high impact factor journals including: Nature, Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America, Hair Transplant Forum International, and Current Opinion: Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Ken Anderson is an internationally-recognized speaker on the subject of hair restoration, and in 2012 received the Okinawa Award for his scholarly presentations to a physician audience at the Japan Society of Clinical Hair Restoration annual meeting in Tokyo, Japan.
