Plant biology, especially genetics and genomics. Genetical dissection on complex traits will facilitate the development of new plant cultivars. Molecular approaches, including the evaluation of wide germplasm collection, marker-assisted selection, and genetical engineering, can open the door to stable crop production for global climatic change and expanding population.
