Professor Krzysztof Jozwiak following his graduation in 2000 started 3 year postodctoral training under the supervision of Dr. IW Wainer in Laboratory of Clinical Investigations, National Institute on Aging, NIH, USA. Then he was a postdoctoral scientist in the International Institute of Molecular and cell Biology in Warsaw, Poland. Currently he continues his scientific activity at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University fo Lublin, Poland.
His research interests concerns interdisciplinary combination of experimental and computational characterization of interactions between drug molecules and their protein targets, molecular (neuro) pharmacology and drug design. He is particularly interested in studying allosteric modulators of nicotinic receptors, potentiators of AMPA receptors as well as agonists of the beta2- adrenergic receptor.
