Krzysztof Stereńczak graduated master and doctoral degree in forestry from Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Faculty of Forestry in 2006 and 2011 respectively. In 2010 he graduated Master of Science in Geographical Information Science and Systems (European Master, UNIGIS) from Z_GIS, Center for Geoinformatics, University of Salzburg. He currently is working in Forest Research Institute. He has 7 years of research and teaching experience.
My research interests are focused on using remote sensing data, especially airborne and terrestrial laser scanner (LIDAR), for predicting single tree and stand parameters, forest monitoring and change detection. Additionally I am interested in GIS based applications for forest DSSs.
