Dr. Levon Abrahamyan is a Professor and Senior Scientist at the Department of Genetics and Microbiology, Charles University, Czech Republic. He received his PhD degree in Genetics from USSR Academy of Sciences. Dr. Abrahamyan serves as a reviewer for several reputable journals in virology. His research interests are broad and fall within several categories: the molecular study of virus-host interaction, host restriction factors, the impact of viral and host genetic variation on HIV-1 pathogenesis and molecular epidemiology, antiretroviral drugs and vaccines.
