Dr. Li is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), IEEE, American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), and American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Li’s research interests are in human factors and cognitive ergonomics, cognitive systems engineering, and human-technology interaction. In particularly, she focuses on human-automation interaction, emerging technologies, and human factors in health care and patient safety. She has interest and experience in applying her research in application domains such as health care, health informatics, space operations, robotics, aviation, ground transportation, and emergency evacuation.
