Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor of health economist in the department of public health sciences at the Penn State College of Medicine. She received her PhD in economics from the Pennsylvania State University in 2008. Dr. Wang is a health services researcher with special interest in autism. Her current research in autism includes comparison of the private and public insurance regarding the use of autism health care services, medication and resulting costs. Dr. Wang is also an econometrician and statistician by training, and has extensive experience with applied data analysis.
