Dr. Lin Zhang is a postdoctoral researcher in Higuchi Biosciences Center at the University of Kansas. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical-Bioanalytical Chemistry from Cleveland State University in 2014 and completed her clinical chemistry internship at Cleveland Clinic. Her dissertation work primarily focused on global, in vivo, and site-specific phosphorylation dynamics in immune system with mass spectrometry based proteomics tools. During her clinical chemistry internship, she implemented various LC-MS methods for clinical biomarker measurements, as well as solved technical problems associated in clinical setting. She has been received numerous prizes and awards for her works in bioanalytical chemistry and volunteering in several professional organizations. Her critical scientific achievements have been presented in various national conferences, as well as published in a number of peer-reviewed journals.
Research interests involve in the development and application of LC-MS/MS, LC-UV, and LC-NMR methods to investigate the post-translational modification (PTMs) of proteins in vivo and in vitro, thereby implementing a reliable protein characterization platform to support biotherapeutic development.
