I am currently working at University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a research assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry. I obtained Ph.D in chemistry from Kyoto University in 2012 and then conducted postdoctoral research at Northwestern University for two years. Ph. D. Chemistry Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan; M.S. Organic Chemistry Tianjin University, Tianjin, China; B.S. Chemistry Tianjin University, Tianjin, China. Post-Doctoral Fellow, Department of Chemistry, University of Nebraska-Lincoln; Research Assistant, Department of Chemistry, Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan; Research Assistant, Department of Chemistry, Tianjin University, Tianjin, China (2006-2008).
I have broad experiences in organic synthesis, chemical biology and polymer chemistry. My current research focus is designing chemical tools for probing protein functions and develop novel biomarkers for diesease diagnosis.
