Dr.Lonny Yarmus is an Interventional Pulmonologist at Johns Hopkins University. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and the director of fellowship training and research for the section of Interventional Pulmonology. His clinical and research work has focused on several aspects of Interventional Pulmonology,including malignant pleural disease, airway stenosis and advanced diagnostic procedures.Dr.Yarmus has lectured nationally and internationally on Interventional Pulmonology and is part of an extremely busy translational laboratory with active research projects investigating the mechanism of airway stenosis after lung transplantation, pleural biomarkers and malignant airway obstruction. He is also the lead investigator of ASSAULTnet.
