Dr. Manoranjan Adak passed his Higher Secondary examination from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education in the year of 1980 and passed B.Sc. Chemistry (Hons.) examination from Calcutta University in the year of 1983. He passed M.Sc. Biochemistry examination from Calcutta University in the year of 1985, PhD in Science from Jadavpur University in the year of 1996 and F.I.C from Institution of Chemist(India) in the year of 1998. He worked under Late Professor Samir Chandra Lahiri in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University in India. From 2011 to till date, he is working as a Professor of Biochemistry in National Medical College & Teaching Hospital, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
His research focuses on Basic synthetic works, Basic microbiological works, Methods involving purification of proteins, Work on natural products.
