Manreet Kanwar

Biography

Manreet K. Kanwar, MD is an Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Fellow at the Gerald McGinnis Cardiovascular Institute at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She has completed her Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Detroit, MI (2007-2010).She received the Joseph E. Johnson Award for Outstanding Leadership from the American College of Physicians (ACP) in 2010 for enhancement of quality and effectiveness of health care by fostering excellence and professionalism in the practice of medicine. Dr. Kanwar was the recipient of the Kass Award for Outstanding Research from the Infectious Disease Society of America in 2006. She has been a reviewer for Clinical Cardiology Journal of Clinical Outcomes and Management, Journal of Emergencies, Trauma and Shock and American Journal of Cardiology.
