Marianna Foldvari

Biography

Marianna Foldvari, D Pharm,  PhD served as Scientific Advisor of Helix Biopharma Corp. Dr. Foldvari founded PharmaDerm Laboratories Ltd; in 1991. She serves as the Associate Director, Research and Graduate Studies at the University of  Waterloo′s School of Pharmacy. Dr. Foldvari served as Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Affairs in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition University of Saskatchewan. She serves as a Director of PharmaDerm Laboratories Ltd.She serves on the Editorial board of Current Drug Delivery and the International Journal of Compounding In 2006. Dr. Foldvari moved to the School of Pharmacy University of Waterloo where she is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and part of a new team developing a coop pharmacy program the first in Canada. She is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan Since 1989. she was an Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition University of Saskatchewan. She is well known as a lsquo;venturesome Professorrsquo, in technology transfer. Dr. Foldvari has authored some 100 papers and delivered 70 conference presentations She is the inventor on 14 patents or patent applications. She has over 150 publications.

Cutaneous gene delivery systems, Dermal and transdermal protein delivery systems, Topical delivery systems for small molecules, Vaccine-based delivery systems, Biomaterial research for delivery system design and fabrication.
