Biography

Dr. Beal joined the orthopaedic staff at The Ohio State University Medical Center in 2010 He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedics for the OSU College of Medicine His clinical and research areas of interest include arthritic disease of the hip and knee the treatment of arthritic disease with joint replacement and the treatment of arthritic disease with partial knee replacement and robotic assisted partial knee replacement A native of Ohio Dr Beal attended undergraduate and medical school at The Ohio State University He did his orthopedic residency at the University of Chicago in Chicago He then completed an orthopedic joint replacement fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston During his fellowship Dr Beal was trained in the complex reconstruction of the hip and knee.

Research Interest

Arthritic disease of the hip and knee, the treatment of arthritic disease with joint replacement and the treatment of arthritic disease with partial knee replacement and robotic assisted partial knee replacement.
