Dr. Michael Bui, DDS, MPH, JD, is an adjunct assistant professor in epidemiology in the School of Public Health at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and an adjunct lecturer in the graduate program of regulatory affairs for drugs, biologics, and medical devices at Northeastern University, College of Professional Studies. He has extensive biopharmaceutical experience, having worked at major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies including Bayer, Roche, Bristol-Myers, and Genentech. His specialty is in clinical and regulatory affairs involving multiple therapeutic areas, with primary expertise in oncology drug development and regulation. Dr. Bui serves as an Industry Representative on the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Advisory Committee and an academic advisory member in the Clinical Investigations Program at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in the state of New Jersey. He is also the chairman of Drug Information Association (DIA)’s Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance Community. He received his joint Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Public Health degrees from Columbia University and law degree from the State University of New York at the Buffalo School of Law. He completed his general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
