Dr. Michel Mac Millan earned his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1980 before going on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Florida and his fellowships at the AO Center in St. Gallan, Switzerland and in Spinal Surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He has contributed to 6 book chapters and has published more than 36 scientific papers in journals such as Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, the Journal of Spinal Disorders and the Florida Orthopaedic Society Journal.MacMillan was elected to membership in the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. He is also a member of several other professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Florida Medical Association.
Dr. MacMillan's clinical practice focuses heavily on complex limb salvage in the treatment of conditions such as bone cancer.
