He completed his Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka Bangladesh. He received his M. Sc. in Chemistry from Emory University, Atlanta in 2006. He received his Ph.D in Pharmaceutics from Mercer University, Atlanta in 2011. He was also a faculty member at Science department, Georgia Perimeter College, Dunwoody. Georgia. He worked on nano-particle based vaccine development for Human Papillomavirus (HPV) as scientist at CDC in 2010 and 2011. His research has lead to 14 peer reviewed papers and numerous scientific presentations. He is also member of several Professional Organization including Association of American Pharmacy Scientists (AAPS) American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), Control Release Society (CRS) American Society of Microbiology (ASM), and American Chemical Society (ACS)
My research interest involves the study of developing vaccines for most prevalent and challenging diseases using micro/nano particle platform based technology. The research mainly focused on development of particulate vaccine against Human Papillomavirus (HPV) for both prophylactic and therapeutic use for cervical cancer. My further research interests include oral formulation development using nano or micro particle for infectious diseases. I am also interested in adhesion and development of nanoparticles for drug delivery purpose.
