Dr. Jamal completed his MBBS from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1992 and then he worked as a lecturer, where he taught undergraduate students. He received his PhD in Forensic Medicine from Kagawa University in 2005 and then he joined the department as an Assistant Professor.
His research has focused on central cholinergic function and cognition following intraperitoneal ethanol exposure in mice models using different molecular and behavioral techniques.
