My research is focused upon the understanding of biochemical, immunological and molecular mechanisms of various ocular diseases such as uveitis, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), keratitis, glaucoma and ocular tumors. Therapeutic potential of various complement inhibitors in the treatment of uveitis and AMD is currently being explored in my laboratory.
